Supporting Information for Revalidation

To prepare for revalidation, all Medical Royal Colleges and Faculties have been working with the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (AoMRC) and General Medical Council (GMC) to provide generic guidance on the supporting information required by all doctors for appraisal and revalidation. Where appropriate, each College and Faculty has also recommended guidance specific to their specialty. We have done this for Occupational Medicine.

Over the last year, in particular, much work has been carried out by the AoMRC and the GMC to streamline and simplify the guidance, in comparison to previous versions. The latest version of the generic guidance and our specialty specific additions can be viewed via the previous link. It is currently in its consultation phase and we would welcome your comments on both the generic and specialty specific aspects of the guidance.
