Boorman Report on the health and wellbeing of the NHS workforce launched today

Dr Steve Boorman, Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, has today launched his interim report on the health and wellbeing of the NHS workforce: NHS Health and Well-being Review: Interim report. This review was commissioned by the Department of Health (England) and the NHS, as part of their response to the Carol Black report, Working for a healthier tomorrow. Many Faculty members have contributed to the review.

The purpose of the interim report, which contains a significant number of recommendations for change, is to act as a basis for discussion at workshops throughout the country, seeking feedback from NHS workers and the other stakeholders, during the summer and early autumn.
